Decide on a wall hung / wall mounted or full height vanity
Decide on the look and style you are after

  • We would recommend a wall mounted vanity to maximise visual floor space.

If we’re talking seriously ‘compact’ the Tonic Mini Vanity is only 250mm deep and comes in both wall mounted and full height.

If you’re looking for a larger capacity vanity - the 900mm wide Narro Vanity is ideal for bathrooms where space is limited. With a compact depth of just 370mm, it includes generous storage with a single large cupboard with one internal shelf and two drawers.

Take a look at our article Space Saving Ideas for Smaller Bathrooms’

  • We would suggest our 1500mm Wall Mounted or Full Height as these both come with double basins. You then have the option to semi-customise basin colour within our Nordic Range.

  • Unfortunately, they do not. We only offer Tonic Vanities with drawers on the right hand side (RHS) as experience shows this is in line with the majority of customer demand.

  • The Tonic Mini Vanity is the minimum depth we offer at only 250mm deep and comes in both wall mounted and full height.

Coming in second is the Narro Slimline Full Height 900mm Vanity at 370mm deep. All other CIBO vanities are 460mm deep.

  • Whilst we cannot customise to your individual specifications. Most of our vanity ranges have two cabinet finish options and some are semi-customisable, with choice of countertop basin and handle colours, take a look at the Nordic, Mornington and Freshwater ranges

  • Tonic Mirror Cabinets can be wall recessed to a maximum of 115mm deep, leaving a minimum of 25mm clearance at the front, external to the wall.

The Capsule Mirror Cabinet can also be partially wall recessed, to a maximum of 65mm deep, which will allow for the door swing depth.

Please note: The Circle 800 & Circle 600 Mirror Cabinets are designed for wall mounting only; cabinet section cannot be fitted into a wall niche.

  • Our Nordic, Finer, Ripple and Mornington Vanity tops are made from 100% crystalline silica free CIBO Solid Surface which is a composite product comprising acrylic, resin, pigment and minerals. It is a seamless, hygienic material with a smooth, non-porous finish.

  • CIBO vanities are made from Moisture Resistant (MR) materials that meet the Australian Standard. While the cabinets are moisture resistant, they are not waterproof, and appropriate care needs to be taken to avoid water damage.

Care must be taken to dry spillages or leakage of water that may gain access to cabinetry. Accurate sealing of the basin/top, vanity cabinet and kickboard (where applicable) is vital for proper maintenance of the product and ensuring longevity.

Please note: Damage may occur if CIBO cabinets are consistently exposed to water. Silicone joints must be used to seal all joins – tops, cabinet sides and kickboards must be sealed to prevent water penetration.

Maintenance FAQs

  • Ensure that bathroom grade silicone is used for sealing during installation – please watch our Vanity Installation Tips Video.

Mechanical ventilation is required in Australian bathrooms as per the Australian Standard below, to help prevent condensation from impacting the vanity, mirror and linen cabinet.

As per Australian Standard is AS 1668.2: Mechanical Ventilation for Buildings. This standard, along with the National Construction Code (NCC) 2022 (Australia) ensures adequate ventilation to maintain healthy indoor air quality and prevent condensation in residential bathrooms.

The most effective cleaning method is to use a damp cotton cloth and a mild detergent. Never use any kind of abrasive cleaning product.

  • We recommend regular cleaning with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks or stains use a small amount of mild abrasive cleanser such as Jif® cream with a damp cloth.

  • We recommend regular cleaning a small amount of mild abrasive cleaner such as Gumption or Jif® with a damp cloth.

  • Care must be taken when cleaning glass and mirror surfaces, we recommend clean, warm water used with a Micro (soft, lint-free) cloth. Wring out all of the water before cleaning the mirror. Dry immediately with a dry Micro cloth. Do not use acid, alkali or abrasive cleaners (including commercial mirror cleaners that contain ammonia or vinegar) on the mirror surface. Care should be taken to avoid contacting the mirror edges with any liquid.
